PROPOSED (consultation draft, not final): the Annex would guide FIs on applicability, AI counts as an 'integrated part of business processes' if losing it would disrupt materially dependent workflows or it is integrated with materially dependent systems; assistive uses (drafting emails, grammar checks) would attract only basic policies.
