A respected, exam-based certification of governance knowledge. As of July 2026 the exam runs $649 for IAPP members and $799 for non-members, and most candidates add training that typically costs $1,500 to $2,500. It signals you speak the language of AI governance.
GAGE: prove you can do it
The Certified AI Governance Professional program is 98 topics across 14 modules, built on real governance failures and real regulatory events, never a recycled case study. Every topic ends in a mastery assessment; scenario responses are graded on evidence quality, stakeholder consideration, risk identification, and framework alignment. Pass the program mastery exam and your signed credential records exactly what you demonstrated.
A credential an employer can interrogate
A certification says pass. The GAGE living credential shows the record: every mastery assessment you passed, with your scores, topic by topic, cryptographically signed so a forged or altered record fails verification. Employers can even ask it questions and get answers grounded only in what you actually passed. Next to an AIGP on your resume, that is the difference between claiming judgment and demonstrating it.
