The role is a weighted set of competencies: required ones count fully, duties count a little less, preferred ones count half. Each competency is covered, partly covered or a gap depending on the evidence you hold, and the score is the weighted share you have covered.

What counts as evidence?

Three tiers. A topic you passed on GAGE is proof, because you explained it back and were graded against the lesson. A work product on your CV, something you built, authored or led, is a shown skill. A sentence that says you are familiar with something is a claim, and a claim never covers a requirement on its own.

Is my CV or the job description stored?

No. Both are read in the request that answers you and then discarded. Text from the EU, UK and Switzerland is processed by a provider with standard contractual clauses in place.

What if the role asks for something GAGE does not teach?

It stays on the list as a gap, marked as not covered by any GAGE program yet, and it still counts against readiness. We would rather show a gap than invent a lesson.

Do I have to buy a whole program?
