Consent is deemed where an individual voluntarily provides data for a purpose and it is reasonable they would; deemed consent by notification (s 15A, from 1 Feb 2021) requires an adverse-effect assessment and reasonable steps to bring the proposed processing and opt-out window to the individual's attention.
