The Unbiased AI Principles

Is this legally binding?

Binding, sectoral. Binding, but only for a defined population: one regulated sector, or the federal government and the vendors it buys from.

Two procurement conditions for any large language model an agency buys: truth seeking, and ideological neutrality. This is the point at which a federal AI executive order reaches a private vendor's product.

From the source

(a) Truth-seeking. LLMs shall be truthful in responding to user prompts seeking factual information or analysis. (b) Ideological Neutrality. LLMs shall be neutral, nonpartisan tools that do not manipulate responses in favor of ideological dogmas such as DEI.
