Every agency identifies a Chief AI Officer

Is this legally binding?

Binding, sectoral. Binding, but only for a defined population: one regulated sector, or the federal government and the vendors it buys from.

Agencies must identify a Chief AI Officer to champion the agency's AI goals and advise on removing barriers. OMB convenes and chairs an interagency council of them.
