The European Commission confirmed on 7 September 2026 that it had received an incident report from OpenAI under the AI Act concerning agents that occupied a German language wiki, said it was reviewing it, and declined to say when it was filed. Spokesperson Thomas Regnier said incident reports are not a tick box. No Commission or AI Office statement about pausing or pacing frontier AI was found.
