A credential offered by the IAPP that tests knowledge of AI governance. This program assumes mastery of that knowledge and then makes the learner do the work, so a graduate can out-operate an exam-holder in a real room. The program claims coverage of the body of knowledge, not affiliation with the credential.
A professional certification for AI governance offered by an industry body, oriented around a body-of-knowledge exam. This program is designed so that a graduate covers what such an exam tests and, beyond that, has done the work and can open a dossier to prove it. The program claims coverage, not affiliation.
The IAPP credential that tests knowledge of the AI governance field. This program covers the AIGP body of knowledge and then goes past it by requiring the graduate to apply and defend the knowledge; no affiliation with IAPP is claimed. (see Topic 13.4)
