AI Governance: Applied Mastery

A model trained on broad data that can perform many tasks and be integrated into many different downstream systems, for example a large language model. The EU AI Act gives GPAI model providers a specific set of obligations under Articles 51 to 56.

EU AI Act Implementation Expert

An AI model that is trained with a large amount of data using self-supervision at scale and that displays significant generality and is capable of competently performing a wide range of distinct tasks, and which can be integrated into a variety of downstream systems or applications (Article 3(63), Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).

EU AI Act Implementation Expert

Defined in Article 3(63) as an AI model trained with a large amount of data using self-supervision at scale, displaying significant generality and capable of competently performing a wide range of distinct tasks regardless of placement modality.
