ISO/IEC 42001:2023

The international standard for an AI management system (AIMS), published by ISO and IEC in December 2023. It uses the ISO High Level Structure (Annex SL) and provides requirements and guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an AI management system. It maps closely to the prEN 18286 structure (Annex D of prEN 18286 provides the correspondence), making it a strong foundation for Article 17 QMS implementation.
