Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization selected AIRoA in September 2025 to develop data platforms for generative AI foundation models in robotics, running from 1 October 2025 to 31 August 2029 and covering data collection, model development and validation. On 30 June 2026 NEDO named Noetra with AIST for a multimodal foundation model program for AI robots and physical AI, fiscal 2026 to 2030. Neither notice states a volume of data.
