AI Act enforcement in Czechia
Czechia has proposed an AI Act authority in draft legislation but has not completed designation. No AI enforcement action has been recorded there on this tracker. The Article 5 prohibitions bind in Czechia regardless, and have since 2 February 2025.

The Czech Telecommunication Office is the proposed authority. Designation is not complete.
The deadline in Article 70 for member states to designate their national competent authorities was 2 August 2025. Designation in national law and notification of a single point of contact to the Commission are separate steps, and this register tracks the first. See the full register for how Czechia compares.
