Concentration

The discipline of funding a smaller number of top-ranked initiatives to their floor, and funding nothing below the line this cycle, rather than sprinkling resources thinly across the whole list.

Defined in 2 GAGE programs, which carry 3 distinct definitions of it. The wording above is taught in Certified AI Transformation Professional (CATP).

How each discipline defines it

The same term does different work depending on who is using it. These are the definitions as each program teaches them, unedited.

Certified Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional (CEGP)

The condition where one person holds a large share of the ownerships over a domain. Permitted where no prohibited pair is involved, and a resilience concern rather than an independence one, because the organization has a single point of failure and no natural challenge.

Certified AI Transformation Professional (CATP)

The discipline of funding a smaller number of top-ranked initiatives to their floor, and funding nothing below the line this cycle, rather than sprinkling resources thinly across the whole list.

Certified Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional (CEGP)

The condition in which many separate risk entries rest on the same underlying dependency. A property of the dependency rather than of any risk, which is why a risk-keyed register cannot show it.
