Conformity file
The folder of evidence showing that a specific AI system meets the rules that apply to it: what the system is, what data it uses, how it was tested, who signs off, and what happens when it fails. First assembled in Topic 5.6; attacked across Module 11; rebuilt here; inspected in Topic 13.2.
Defined in 2 GAGE programs, which carry 7 distinct definitions of it. The wording above is taught in AI Governance: Applied Mastery.
How each discipline defines it
The same term does different work depending on who is using it. These are the definitions as each program teaches them, unedited.
The organized body of evidence that a high-risk AI system meets its obligations, assembled in Topic 5.6: the system description, data provenance record, evaluation report, trust-boundary and human-oversight design, and logging record. It is the artifact defended in this topic, attacked in Topic 11.1, and rebuilt in Topic 11.6. (see Topic 5.6)
The working term this program uses for the assembled evidence a provider holds to demonstrate a high-risk AI system's compliance, including the technical documentation, the declaration of conformity, and supporting records; the data governance chapter is the data function's contribution to this file.
The assembled evidence, built in Module 5, that an AI system meets the obligations that apply to it. It is attacked in the adversarial module and audited in the capstone, and it lives in your dossier. (see Topic 5.2)
The single assembled evidence pack for a high-risk AI system, structured on the EU AI Act's Annex IV technical documentation, that lets a reviewer open it and follow the system from intended purpose through data, testing, risk decisions, and human oversight to the signed declaration.
The single evidence pack for a high-risk AI system, structured on the EU AI Act's Annex IV, assembled in (see Topic 5.6) and attacked in this topic.
