Under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, an incident that directly or indirectly leads, or might lead, to the death of a person or serious harm to health, a serious and irreversible disruption of critical infrastructure, an infringement of Union law protecting fundamental rights, or serious harm to property or the environment.

Certified AI Data Governance Professional (CADGP)

A malfunction or defect in an AI system that causes or is likely to cause a breach of obligations under Union law intended to protect fundamental rights, among other triggering conditions, subject to mandatory reporting to the relevant market surveillance authority under Article 73.
