The only safety standard written for robots that live with people is from 2014 and is marked for revision

ISO 13482:2014 covers personal care robots, the mobile servant, physical assistant and person carrier types. ISO lists it at stage 90.92, to be revised. Its own text admits that no exhaustive internationally recognised pain or injury data existed when it was published, which is the gap a humanoid in a home walks straight into.

What it changes

For a robot maker or a deployer

If you are putting a legged or mobile robot into a home, a ward or a shop, this is the standard your customer will ask for and it is twelve years old, marked for revision, and open about the missing injury data. Use it as the skeleton of your safety case, then add your own measured contact testing, because the standard does not supply the numbers you need.
