The Commission's own robotics policy page describes funding, more than 120 research projects and the SPARC partnership, and names no strategy document and no date. The robotics commitments the Commission has actually written down sit inside the Apply AI Strategy of October 2025. A standalone European robotics strategy does not exist on the Commission's pages.

If a vendor, a consultant or a grant deck cites a European robotics strategy at you, ask for the document reference. What exists is a research and uptake policy plus one section of an AI communication. Plan your European roadmap against the Machinery Regulation and the AI Act calendar, which are real, and treat robotics policy as funding rather than as a coming rulebook.
