Jack Clark, co founder of Anthropic, told NPR's Morning Edition on 15 September 2026 that the company is not saying the threat to the world is here today, that it has seen warning shots, and that this gives a window in which to act, and called slowing AI a collective action problem. To the BBC the same week he said the window to act is a few years. He stated no probability.
